Am due knee surgery in a few weeks time. In addition, I have a chronic spinal problem that will not improve so, was looking to my future as well of current needs. This chair is excellent. Very easy to put together, everything just clips in to place. It is very light weight but robust so, multi functional and easy to move from bedroom to bathroom as required. It can be reduced to its component parts for storage so, all in all, good all round. Very pleased with my purchase.
