Standalone reviews platform

The reviews platform that proves every review.

Vendably Trust verifies every review against a real transaction, moderates every submission independently, and publishes the result to Google Shopping natively. No invitation caps. No paid review removal. No third-party feed contracts.

Why Vendably Trust

Seven properties. No competitor holds all seven.

Trust competes in the reviews-platform category against Trustpilot, Reviews.io, Yotpo, Judge.me, and Bazaarvoice. None of them combine these seven properties in a single product.

Seller, product, and service reviews on one profile.

Trustpilot collects seller reviews. Judge.me and Yotpo collect product reviews. Vendably Trust collects all three types on a single independently moderated profile.

Three review types

Every invitation carries a signed token.

Post-purchase invitations carry an HMAC-signed token tied to a DataHub transaction ID. If the token is absent or expired, the submission cannot be marked as verified. Trustpilot verifies by email domain. Vendably verifies by transaction record.

HMAC + DataHub transaction ID

One pipeline for your product feed and your review feed.

Vendably generates the Google Product Review Feed (XSD schema 2.4 XML) through DataHub. No separate connector. No manual import scheduled on the Google side. The same pipeline that distributes your product data distributes your review ratings.

Google Product Review Feed XSD 2.4

Vendably arbitrates disputes. Merchants do not.

When a review is flagged, Vendably staff hold and exercise the arbitration decision. The merchant cannot remove a review by raising a dispute. The outcome is published and logged.

Staff arbitration

Review sentiment feeds the intelligence layer.

Vendably scores every published review at submission time. Scores aggregate into 30-day rolling sentiment percentages per product and per seller. On the full platform, those signals surface through the Intelligence dashboard.

Sentiment signal loop

No ceiling on monthly invitations at any plan.

Trustpilot Plus allows 300 invitations per month. Trustpilot Premium allows 1,000. Vendably Trust has no invitation volume cap. A merchant sending 3,000 post-purchase invitations per month pays the same rate as one sending 300.

No invitation cap

Trust is part of every Vendably subscription. No additional line item.

Trustpilot, Reviews.io, and Yotpo are standalone products with standalone contracts. Trust is included in the Vendably platform subscription alongside DataHub, Channels, Intelligence, Site Search, Ad Management, Social, and Content. One subscription. No second invoice for reviews.

Verification

How verification works

Every invitation carries an HMAC-signed token tied to a DataHub transaction ID. If the token is absent or expired, the submission cannot be marked verified.

  1. 1

    A shopper completes a transaction.

The DataHub feed pipeline records the transaction ID. No action is required from the shopper at this point.

  2. 2

The merchant sends an HMAC-signed invitation.

After fulfilment, the merchant dispatches a Vendably-generated invitation link. The link carries an HMAC token signed with the DataHub transaction ID. No transaction, no valid token.

  3. 3

The shopper submits a review through the signed link.

Clicking the link opens the review form. The review is cryptographically bound to the transaction record. Submitting without the token produces an unverified submission.

  4. 4

Vendably validates the token and marks the review.

Vendably verifies the HMAC signature before publishing. Verified reviews carry the verified-purchase mark. Trustpilot verifies by email domain. Vendably verifies by transaction record.

Moderation

How moderation works

Vendably operates moderation as a public-trust institution, not a merchant service. The criteria, flag codes, SLA windows, and arbitration outcomes are all published.

  1. 1

Auto-moderation runs before any review is visible.

Every submission passes through Vendably's automated content pipeline. Checks include toxicity scoring, profanity detection, PII identification, and content guideline compliance. A pass publishes within minutes.

  2. 2

Flagged submissions enter the staff queue.

When auto-moderation cannot determine compliance, the submission holds in a staff-review queue. Vendably staff assess against the published content guidelines. Reasons for rejection are logged with a standardised flag code.

  3. 3

Disputes go to independent staff arbitration.

A merchant or reviewer may raise a dispute. Vendably staff hold and exercise the arbitration decision. The merchant cannot determine the outcome. Both parties receive the decision and the reasoning. The outcome is logged.

  4. 4

GDPR erasure anonymises, but does not delete the rating contribution.

A verified GDPR right-to-erasure request anonymises personal information from the review record. The rating contribution to the merchant's aggregate is preserved. Vendably cannot remove a published review on a merchant's commercial request.

The operator

Vendably operates Trust as the neutral aggregator. Not as a feature.

Vendably Trust is a reviews platform with its own subdomain and its own public identity. It is part of the Vendably platform subscription and is operated by Vendably, the company that runs the DataHub feed infrastructure used by merchants distributing products to Google Shopping, Amazon, Meta, and twenty-three other destinations.

The verification model depends on DataHub. The HMAC-signed invitation token that ties a review to a real purchase is generated from the DataHub transaction record. Without that pipeline, cryptographic purchase verification is not possible at the mechanism level. It is not a badge of intent; it is a consequence of the infrastructure.

Trust is the reviews platform. Vendably is the operator. Merchants publish. Shoppers read. Vendably arbitrates.

Trust is part of every Vendably platform subscription. See what else the subscription covers at vendably.com/pricing.

Judge.me is a Shopify-only reviews app at $0 to $15 per month. It covers product reviews only, has no seller review type, no service review type, no independent arbitration model, and no GDPR right-to-erasure workflow. For Shopify-only merchants who need product reviews only and do not need Google Product Review Feed through their product pipeline, it is a legitimate price-leader option. For merchants on WooCommerce, BigCommerce, or a custom stack, it is not available.

Founding cohort

Opening to a founding cohort in August 2026

Vendably Trust accepts its first cohort of merchants in August 2026. Founding merchants receive a Vendably-staff-led migration of their existing review history from Trustpilot, Reviews.io, Yotpo, Judge.me, or Google Customer Reviews at no cost. After the founding window closes, migration moves to self-serve via the platform's import adapters.

Trustpilot import Reviews.io import Yotpo import Judge.me import Google Customer Reviews import

Founding-cohort intake closes when capacity is reached. The Vendably migration team operates a fixed throughput; intake is queued on a first-come basis.

Pricing

Trust is part of every Vendably platform subscription

How Trust operates

The methodology is public. The moderation decisions are logged.

Vendably operates Trust as a public-trust institution, not a merchant marketing tool. That distinction has operational consequences. Vendably cannot remove a published review on a merchant's request. Vendably can anonymise personal information from a review record on a verified GDPR erasure request. Vendably publishes the criteria, the flag reasons, and the SLA windows that govern every moderation decision. When Vendably makes an arbitration decision, both parties receive the outcome and the reasoning.

What Vendably can and cannot do

Can:

  • Arbitrate disputes and publish the decision
  • Anonymise personal information on a verified GDPR erasure request (rating contribution preserved)
  • Decline a review that breaches content guidelines, with a reason logged

Cannot:

  • Remove a published review on a merchant's request without a content guideline breach or successful arbitration
  • Alter the text or rating of a published review
  • Suppress negative reviews at a merchant's commercial request

Get Vendably. Trust included.

Trust opens to its founding cohort in August 2026. Founding merchants receive their review history migrated by Vendably staff at no cost. See what the founding offer covers at /for-merchants/.
