01 About us

Who we are

They Vouch is operated by Vendably Ltd., a company registered in England and Wales. Company registration number: [TODO: Vendably company registration number]. Registered office: [TODO: Vendably Ltd. registered address].

You can contact us at: [TODO: legal@vendably.com or whichever legal contact email].

02 Scope

What these terms cover

These terms apply to your use of this site (the public review host, operated by Vendably Ltd., that publishes They Vouch reviews). They cover all access to the site, whether as a shopper reading reviews, a reviewer submitting a review, or a merchant whose review profile is published here.

These terms do not govern your use of the Vendably platform itself, including merchant tools, billing, DataHub, or any other Vendably product. Those are covered by the Vendably platform terms of service at vendably.com/terms/.

By using this site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use this site.

03 Access

Using the site

Anyone may read public reviews on this site without creating an account. Reading reviews requires no registration.

To submit a review, you must have received an invitation token tied to a real purchase, or submit via the open-submission flow (which is subject to additional verification requirements). Attempting to submit a review without a valid invitation token, or submitting a review on behalf of someone else, is a breach of these terms.

You must not use this site to scrape, index, or extract review data in bulk without Vendably's written permission. Automated access to this site without permission is prohibited.

You must not attempt to interfere with the platform's operation, including its moderation pipeline, access controls, or security mechanisms.

04 Your content

Review content

You retain copyright in the text of any review you submit. Vendably does not claim ownership of your review content.

By submitting a review, you grant Vendably a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to:

This licence is granted for the duration of publication. If you request removal or anonymisation of your review under GDPR or under your reviewer rights, this licence ends for the content removed or anonymised. See our privacy policy and GDPR rights page for detail.

You may not submit review content that you do not have the right to licence, including text copied from third-party sources or content generated by AI presented as your own genuine experience.

05 Reviewer warranties

Reviewer warranties

By submitting a review on They Vouch, you warrant and represent that:

If you breach any of these warranties, Vendably may remove your review, suspend your ability to submit reviews, and (where required by law) report the breach to the appropriate authority.

06 Merchant warranties

Merchant warranties

Merchants whose review profiles are published on this site warrant and agree that they:

Merchants who breach these warranties may have their profile suspended and their Vendably subscription terminated in accordance with the Vendably platform terms.

07 Moderation

Removal and moderation

All reviews submitted to They Vouch pass through an automated moderation pipeline before publication. The pipeline checks for content policy violations. Reviews that pass are published. Reviews that fail are held for manual review or removed.

Vendably may remove a review that violates the content guidelines, applied uniformly to every review on the platform regardless of the reviewer's identity, the merchant's identity, or the review's rating.

Policy

No paid review removal.

Vendably will not remove a review at a merchant's request, regardless of payment, partnership, or commercial relationship. The only reason a review is removed is that it has failed our content guidelines, applied uniformly. No payment or commercial arrangement can override this.

Full detail on what reviews may and may not contain, the moderation pipeline, SLAs, and the appeals process is set out in our content guidelines.

08 Intellectual property

Intellectual property

Vendably owns all rights in the They Vouch platform, including the software, algorithms, design, code, and all aggregated and anonymised data derived from review activity on the platform. This ownership is separate from the review content you submit, which remains your own (see the section on review content above).

The They Vouch name and mark and associated brand assets are trademarks or unregistered marks of Vendably Ltd. You may not use them without Vendably's prior written consent.

You may not reproduce, republish, or redistribute any part of the They Vouch platform, its design, or its content without permission, except as permitted by law.

09 Disclaimers

Disclaimers

Vendably is not responsible for the conduct, products, or services of any merchant whose profile appears on this site. A review profile on this site is not a recommendation or certification of the merchant.

10 Liability

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vendably's total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to your use of this site (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) is limited to £100.

Vendably is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including loss of profits, loss of data, or reputational damage, arising from your use of or inability to use this site.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes Vendably's liability for death or personal injury caused by its own negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.

These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

11 Termination

Termination

Vendably may suspend or terminate your access to this site, or your ability to submit reviews, if you breach these terms or the content guidelines. Where practicable, Vendably will provide notice before taking such action.

Termination does not affect any obligations or rights that arose before termination, including your grant of the licence in the review content section above for reviews already published.

12 Changes

Changes to these terms

Vendably may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified at least 30 days before they take effect:

Minor changes, such as clarifications or corrections that do not alter the substance of a provision, may be made without prior notice. The version date at the foot of this document will be updated on any change.

Continued use of this site after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not accept the updated terms, you should stop using the site.
