This chair has design has been around for some time now, and I understand why. I bought this for my mother who can no longer walk but wants to continue with her shower. She can safely transport from bed to shower and even wheel over the toilet, then be taken to the living room by her single carer, all on the one chair. Unlike other chairs I looked at, this is heavy and well-built, so my mother, who is 100 and can lose confidence easily, feels safe. And it means we only need one carer to help her, making the experience less embarrasing.
