I've found the lotion applicator really, really useful. In fact I put the emollient on a few of the rollers on the outside of the applicator (loading up the inside reservoir didn't seem to work well. It's great that I can now put emollient on the parts of my back that I couldn't before! I can now go swimming again and still moisturise my back afterwards - essential with my eczema.
