I purchased the bathtub grab bar for my elderly mother in law (who has mobility issues owing to severe arthritis) in the hope that it would improve the effort/reduce the pain of getting into and out of the bath. The item was easy to fit and, after tightening (one simple hand turned bolt which doesn't damage the bath if not turned too tightly) feels very secure. She now, with the combined aid of a small step/stool and non-slip mat in the bath has gained much confidence in using the bath or shower. This of course also gives herself and us much peace of mind. Agreeable price and five stars.
