Founding cohort open August 2026

The reviews platform that proves every review.

Vendably Trust opens to its founding cohort in August 2026. Founding merchants get their existing review history migrated by Vendably staff at no cost. Trustpilot, Reviews.io, Yotpo, Judge.me, Google Customer Reviews. Vendably handles the export, the import, and the validation.

What Trust includes

Everything in the invitation-to-publication pipeline

Vendably Trust ships six capabilities as a single product. No modules, no add-ons, no third-party feed contracts for Google Shopping.

Post-purchase invitation flow

Vendably sends a time-limited, cryptographically signed invitation to each customer after order fulfilment. The invitation link contains an HMAC token generated from the merchant's DataHub transaction ID. A reviewer without a valid token cannot submit a verified-purchase review.

HMAC-signed tokens via DataHub
Seller, product, and service reviews

Each invitation can request one or more of three distinct review subjects: the seller (merchant-level experience), a specific product (identified by GTIN or MPN from the product feed), or a service interaction (delivery, support, or installation). All three subjects are indexed separately and published to the merchant's public profile.

Three review subjects on one record
Independent moderation and arbitration

Every submission passes through Vendably's auto-moderation pipeline before publication. Flagged reviews enter a staff queue. Disputes from either the reviewer or the merchant are arbitrated by Vendably staff, not the merchant. Merchants cannot request removal of a review on the grounds of disagreement with its content. Removals are recorded and auditable.

Staff queue, not merchant-controlled
Native Google Product Review Feed

Vendably generates a schema 2.4 XML Product Review Feed through the same DataHub destinations pipeline that distributes the merchant's product data to Google Shopping. The feed includes GTIN/MPN matching, reviewer identifier hashing, and transaction-verification metadata. No third-party feed contract is required. Vendably is the publisher.

Schema 2.4 XML via DataHub destinations
Import adapters for five platforms

Vendably provides import adapters for Trustpilot, Reviews.io, Yotpo, Judge.me, and Google Customer Reviews. Imported reviews retain their source-platform attribution and are deduplicated against existing verified-purchase records. All imported reviews pass through the same auto-moderation pipeline as new submissions.

Attribution preserved, auto-moderated on import
JSON-LD structured data and on-site widget

Each merchant's published reviews are available as JSON-LD structured data (AggregateRating schema) for embedding on product pages and the homepage. A lightweight JavaScript widget renders reviews and the aggregate rating in any storefront without a backend integration. Both outputs are served from Vendably's infrastructure; no CDN configuration is required.

Founding cohort

Bring your reviews with you. We will do the migration.

Vendably Trust opens to its founding cohort of merchants in August 2026. Founding merchants do not migrate alone. Vendably staff take the export from your existing platform, run it through the import adapters, verify deduplication and locale assignment, and publish under your Vendably Trust profile.

After the founding window closes, migration moves to self-serve via the same import adapters. The work is the same; you do it yourself instead of Vendably doing it for you.

Imported reviews keep their source-platform attribution on the public profile. Historical reviews are not re-verified against purchase records, because they were verified at source, but they pass through Vendably's auto-moderation pipeline before publication.

How migration works

You request a migration.

Open a migration request from the contact form. Vendably confirms scope and timeline within two working days.

Vendably handles the export and import.

Vendably staff coordinate the export from your current platform, run it through the import adapter, and validate the output against your DataHub catalogue.

You review before publication.

Vendably presents the imported reviews on a staging profile. You approve, request changes, or hold back individual reviews. Publication happens on your sign-off.

Honest questions

Frequently asked

Questions a merchant should ask before switching review platforms.

How is Vendably Trust's verification different from Trustpilot's?

Trustpilot verifies reviewers by matching the reviewer's email domain against a list of known customer email patterns. Vendably Trust verifies by transaction record: every post-purchase invitation carries an HMAC-signed token tied to a DataHub transaction ID. If the token is absent, expired, or mismatched, the submission cannot be marked as verified. The verification is cryptographic, not heuristic.

What happens to my reviews if I cancel my Vendably subscription?

Your review data is yours. Vendably provides a full export in JSON and CSV format at any point, on request, at no charge. Reviews on your public Trust profile remain visible to shoppers for 90 days after cancellation; after that the profile page becomes unavailable. Your data is not deleted; it is retained for 12 months in case you reactivate, then purged per the data retention schedule.

Can I export my review data?

Yes. The merchant dashboard includes a self-serve export for all collected reviews in JSON and CSV format. Founding-cohort merchants also receive a structured export of their migrated review history as part of the migration handoff.

Is there an invitation volume cap?

No. There is no ceiling on monthly invitations at any Vendably plan. A merchant sending 3,000 post-purchase invitations per month pays the same rate as one sending 300. Trustpilot Plus allows 300 per month; Trustpilot Premium allows 1,000. Vendably has no equivalent restriction.

Can I respond to reviews?

Yes. Merchant responses are available on the merchant Trust dashboard and publish alongside the review on the public profile. Responses are moderated for content guideline compliance before publication. A merchant cannot edit a published review; only the reviewer can do that within the 24-hour edit window.

How does the Google Product Review Feed work?

Vendably generates the Google Product Review Feed in XSD schema 2.4 XML through DataHub, the same feed pipeline that distributes your product data to Google Shopping, Amazon, Meta, and 23 other destinations. There is no separate connector to configure on the Google side. Feeds update daily on the standard DataHub schedule. At Plus tier on Trustpilot, Google Product Review Feed is not available.

What review types does Vendably Trust support?

Three types: seller reviews (about the merchant's service overall), product reviews (about a specific product from an order), and service reviews (about a specific service delivery). All three types appear on a single independently moderated merchant profile. Trustpilot collects seller reviews only. Judge.me and Yotpo collect product reviews. Vendably Trust collects all three on one profile.

What does the founding-cohort migration service cover?

The migration service covers Trustpilot, Reviews.io, Yotpo, Judge.me, and Google Customer Reviews. Vendably staff handle the export request, the field mapping, the verification mapping (matching migrated reviews against DataHub transaction records where possible), the moderation backfill, and the publication. After the founding window closes, migration becomes self-serve via the platform's import adapters.

Is the founding-cohort offer a discounted price?

No. Every founding merchant pays the standard Vendably platform price. The founding-cohort offer is the migration service itself, which would otherwise be priced separately. There is no free month, no lifetime price lock, and no recurring discount. The offer is a one-time premium from launch.

Who arbitrates disputes about a review?

Vendably staff. When a review is flagged and cannot be resolved by auto-moderation, a merchant or reviewer may raise a formal dispute. Vendably staff hold and exercise the arbitration decision. The merchant cannot determine the outcome. Both parties receive the decision and the reasoning. The outcome is logged and auditable.

Can a merchant pay to remove a negative review?

No. Vendably cannot remove a published review on a merchant's commercial request. A review may be removed only if it breaches the published content guidelines and the breach is confirmed by staff moderation or arbitration. The reason for any removal is logged with a standardised flag code and is auditable on request.

Can I use Vendably Trust without the rest of the Vendably platform?

Trust is part of the Vendably platform subscription. It is not currently available as a standalone product. One subscription covers Trust alongside DataHub, Channels, Intelligence, Site Search, Ad Management, Social, and Content. If you want Trust and are not yet on Vendably, the platform subscription is the entry point. See pricing at vendably.com/pricing.
