I use this at home as it is more stable than a walking stick and I like it for standing upright. However, I would not use this tetrapod outside the home and would prefer my stick.

The tetrapod was bought for my 91 year old mother. She is able to stabilise herself when needed, for example, in her garden, as the pod can stand near her, rather than lie or be propped, and therefore is easily accessible. A well formed handle for firm gripping too. Lightweight and well balanced in design.
