Much easier for me to carry when going away

I bought the luxury stocking aid as I have back problems and can't bend to put socks on. It has taken me a while to get the best practice to actually pull the sock over the plastic section, as it is a flat surface that needs 'forming ' to shape first. So squashed between knees and sock applied works for me. Once you've got to grips with the application, pulling the sock in position works fine. Now to find a toe nail cutter because that's a trial too.

This is the second one of these I have had. Tried others after my first one split after a lot of use. The type with strings don't come close for ease of use. I have arthritis in feet and spine, this is a godsend.

Fantastic responses - excellent delivery times. Just to let you know that since I bought the sock aid my mums used it and got much more confident that she has now learnt to put her socks on herself again. Previous to using this aid she was unable to put her own socks on. Probably don't need the aid now but it has worked wonders for my mums confidence.

I bought a luxury sock aid. It's fine, though slightly difficult to hold in the right shape to put the sock on at the beginning. But otherwise fine. I'd give it 4. Ease and efficiency of ordering and delivery was very good.

The stocking aid is well made and easy to use. I have used one with strings on them they may be cheaper but are not as good.

Had my stocking aid for close on seven years now and still in excellent condition. Bought a new one a couple of years ago as a replacement when needed - still in its wrapper! With my back and knee problems, I couldn't do without it. A real Godsend.

The aid for putting my socks on is extremely useful. I have osteoarthritis and am waiting to have both hips replaced. I cannot reach my feet so this aid is essential (no pun intended!) for me. Rating 5. Thank you for your fast delivery.

This is the third stocking aid purchased as the first wore out, but this luxury stocking aid model is used on a daily basis and is simply wonderful and such a help to my husband.
