My mother-in-law (who is 88) is having a lot of falls and wasn't feeling secure with her stick. I bought the terapod while she is waiting to be seen in falls clinic; she says it is great and is very pleased with it. It has given her more confidence. I worried it might be a bit heavy (she has burnt-out rheumatoid arthritis and multiple finger joints replaced) but she says it is is great.

I've finally persuaded my 85 year old father (with terrible balance) that this doesn't make him look like an old man. Takes the stress away from the family watching his every move and waiting for him to lose his balance.
