With a strong carer our chair can even be taken down three steps!

Not used much yet but tried out and the ramp is secure and will certainly be useful. I thought it might be difficult to put in place (5ft ramp) but it was easier than expected with a little help. It should also be reasonably easy to fold out of the way when necessary.

The Ramp is first class and has been used several times to get across paths and door steps with ease and its also excellent to fold up and take in the car to assist the unknown steps etc. It's lightweight, compactable, great value for money. Total score 5 out of 5.

The ramp is excellent. My only problem is the design of the house means that the ramp has to be angled to the door due to a jutting wall! For the ramp itself, we would rate it as 5.

Many of the ramps advertised on line were expensive and permanent in nature, whereas the 2 we ordered from Essential Aids were light, easy to put up when needed, stored away conveniently and were purchased for a little over £100 for the two. They were delivered almost immediately to my daughters home and are totally fit for purpose.
