Very good design for someone who not only has rheumatoid arthritis but also dementia. It's not cheap but it should last.

Bought for my mother who is approaching 102 years of age. Her hand grip is not good and the thicker handle for this knife is a great help. The rocking action required with this knife makes life easier for her.

This cutlery in my opinion is amazing. As someone with muscle wasting disease, dexterity issues are a big problem. Due to the weight, size of handle and the ability to angle the spoons and forks, it makes it so much easier to keep the independence that we thrive to embrace. I use the unweighted cutlery but for some, the weighted may be a better preference. I would highly recommend this product. 5*

I purchased some specially adapted cutlery for my aged father in law, after he suffered a minor stroke. They arrived very quickly and well packaged. As he suffers weakness in his right hand, the thicker grips make them easier to hold for longer periods.
