I bought the 4-inch raised toilet seat to see whether it would help with getting on and off the loo. I have osteoarthritis in my spine and knees and it was becoming more and more difficult to do what used to be a simple task. It has made it so much easier and less painful. I've knocked off one point as the shape is not overly comfortable but other than would totally recommend to anyone thinking about it.
