My husband is about to have a replacement hip operation and though we realise he will be encouraged to walk up and downstairs very soon after- our stairs are deep and steep between the toilet on the first floor and the sitting room on the ground floor and we thought keeping that folding commode downstairs for emergencies would be sensible. It folds easily and close together and is covered neatly by a large black bin bag under our stairs and it was a very reasonable price. What not to like even if it's not in use for long?
