I purchased the flexible ferrule for an old walking stick to use after I had a fall. Still feeling vulnerable when I go out, I use the stick purely as, hopefully, a support in case I fall again. The flexible ferrule is far superior to an ordinary one. I give it my thumbs up AND it is not expensive. I know where to come if I need anything else aid-wise.
