Strong and sturdy foldable ramp

Bought the ramp for my father in law who is housebound. Brilliant service from essential aids & quick delivery. The ramp is lightweight, folds in half & has 2 pins on chains that you pop through a hole either side that locks the ramp closed.

An excellent piece of kit, sturdily made and easy to carry and use - recommended.

If it continues to work well, I might buy a longer one for our two stairs.

I am very pleased with my purchase of the 3t suitcase ramp.

My 4 year old Granddaughter needed an access ramp to get her wheelchair through the front door and I was going to build one out of timber. Because I was concerned about slipperiness when wet, I started looking at alternatives and the suitcase ramp from Essential Aids looked ideal. The ordering process was simple and even explained VAT exemption (something I didn't even know was possible). Delivery was very quick and the ramp was delivered directly to my Granddaughter, enabling her to use it immediately. In the 6 weeks or so since she has been using it, the ramp has proven to be excellent. It is well built and durable, is not slippery when wet and folds up for easy transportation with her wheelchair. I would give this item a rating of 5 out of 5.

Many of the ramps advertised on line were expensive and permanent in nature, whereas the 2 we ordered from Essential Aids were light, easy to put up when needed, stored away conveniently and were purchased for a little over £100 for the two. They were delivered almost immediately to my daughters home and are totally fit for purpose.
