My 4 year old Granddaughter needed an access ramp to get her wheelchair through the front door and I was going to build one out of timber. Because I was concerned about slipperiness when wet, I started looking at alternatives and the suitcase ramp from Essential Aids looked ideal. The ordering process was simple and even explained VAT exemption (something I didn't even know was possible). Delivery was very quick and the ramp was delivered directly to my Granddaughter, enabling her to use it immediately. In the 6 weeks or so since she has been using it, the ramp has proven to be excellent. It is well built and durable, is not slippery when wet and folds up for easy transportation with her wheelchair.
