I placed this rail at the top of the stairs, very solid & safe to hold onto either going up or down the stairs. It is a wide grab rail with a fluted edge grip and so essential for negotiating my stairs. arrived within 24 hours of placing my order.
Perfect rail to hold onto when turning 90 degrees on the stairs. Having to use crutches meant I felt safer with one crutch and a rail to grab onto, either pulling me up or pushing down, once round the corner . arrived within 24 hours of order
Good value for money, in use a lot. Bits of paper, plastic aprons and gloves on the floor can be easily picked up (from carers visits!) Very useful tool when you can't bend and are short so can't reach things too far away. Easy to hold because the whole hand can be used. See picture. I don't think it will pick up heavy items and anything too wide will not fit in the grips.
The basket is ideal for my needs but unfortunately the brackets don't fit my scooter. Now looking to adapt them
