These are great for washing someone with when bed bathing. Saves on washing flannels and just more hygienic. Quality is good. Bear in mind they are not good for drying off with. A towel is much better. For washing though they are handy and easy to use.
As someone with widespread osteo-arthritis, especially of the spine, time and age have taken their toll and my balance and grip are not what they were. Also, gone are the days when I could stand on a chair or ladder to reach those carefully stored items on a high shelf or cupboard top, so a friend recommended one of these grabbers. I went online, read all the reviews for various brands and eventually settled on the Essential Aids 32" version as that appeared to suit my needs most. Priced fairly, delivery was quick, but first impressions were that it's not quite as sturdy as I'd hoped and I would have preferred the gripper to have slightly wider jaws. Hence the 4*. Having said this, these are early days and so far my worries have been groundless, so I would say that for anyone considering such a purchase, give this version from Essential Aids consideration. They are the experts after all!

A very good product and well made. However it was bought so that it could be folded away after use but the clips on the tray that fix to the sides of the trolley are difficult to clip on and remove for a 91 year old as her hands are very arthritic. Therefore she has to keep the trolley assembled and is not able to fold it away. The wheels are very smooth and the height is adjustable so it is easy to move around with. Overall, a very good product.
The stick seems very sturdy used it this weekend whilst at a rally was a life saver when watching particular exhibits supported me well whilst resting my weary legs I found it a little heavy but wanted something that would last .
Happy with the wheelchair and there something on your sight I will order in your, all's good with me.
Adjustable good quality, nice that the adjusters are not in the firing line! Plenty of width on the width.

The item arrived in good time and was well packed. Easy to put together and sturdy when in use. It's just a little larger than anticipated so not easy to manoeuvre in our small shower, also, once standing, I find it difficult to fold away. Otherwise all good.
Good soft padded seat. Does the job. Bought 2 for each toilet, neither fit perfectly and do rock forward/back so need to be careful getting up. Easy to wipe clean.
It was easy to assemble. My only issue with it is that the bowl is a little further forwards than the hole in the loo seat. I shall have to aim forwards! Frances Waddy.
Idel for my wife who is recovering from her second hip replacement and needs to keep her feet up.
Title says it all, very helpful size for navigating the house, yes the wide frame is more stable but this is a good compromise.
Tried a few styles of ergonomic handled cutlery and found these to be the best - not too heavy yet still enough grip to be useable with ease. The handles detach for cleaning which helps too. I wish they came in other colours as we don't require the bright red warning but haven't yet found anything similar enough so we've just accepted cutlery is red now!
This wiper is great idea. This basic model doesn't always get a good grip on the toilet paper. I bought it to see whether the concept really works. It does. You soon get the hang of it.
Good plate and easy to use, but a bit on the small side for a full meal. I'd appreciate the option of a bigger size.
This is light, strong & height adjustable - that bit is slightly fiddley, and doing exactly what I hoped - providing the occupant room to spread out and relax in bed. I use a double bed top sheet and duvet to cover a single bed easily over the height of the frame. No cold air gaps at the sides!
The stool is as described- well made, sturdy with good height adjustment and easy to clean. A good purchase.
The frame is good quality and the folding a action is easy to use. It is not quite as wide as a standard frame which is excellent as a standard one won't fit through our internal doors. I have knocked one star off as the push bar to release seems a bit flimsy (it may need to be soft to function)but only time will tell. Very good value and excellent service from essential aids.
This frame is sufficiently strongly constructed for a heavy person. Being adjustable is essential for practical convenience. Very reasonable price.
