I have not received these goods as yet
Essential Aids
grab rails delivered v.promptly, but were not the ones ordered.could not be bothered with the hassle of trying to rectify,so paid to have mounting points altered(not a big job,but shouldnt have been necessary},so the advantage of cheapnesswas lost
Sadly my parcel has not arrived!! Parcelforce are saying the delivery address was 'insufficient' Clearly that is not true as the full address is on my order. Unfortunately Parcelforce are unreliable . I know that is not something that is down to you but thought you should know
I ordered this on the 8th of October, I get this is a Saturday, so wasn't expecting anything to be processed until Monday. However by Friday I had still not received anything and upon checking my account I saw it was still processing, so I called up and asked if I could cancel the order as obviously I ordered these in order for my husband to be able to walk and I had seen another pair on amazon offering next day delivery. The lady on the phone said they had already shipped, they just hadn't given tracking info, and I would definitely get them by Monday. Well today is Monday night, they still haven't arrived, hubby is still confined to the sofa and I get an email asking for a review. Well here it is! If people are ordering mobility aids, they kind of need it straight away! He has broken his left wrist and foot, so he is literally immobile! If you can't fulfill the order in a reasonable time, be honest and offer a refund where necessary so you are not prolonging someone's discomfort!
I've found a short video on the Etac website showing how to put on the Socky. However, even following these instructions, I can't get the Socky to work! I understand the theory but the hooks the sock is supposed to stay on before you pull up the Socky aren't pronounced enough for the tops of my socks, which are normally sized, not extra wide or extra roomy. The sock slides off the hooks before it's fully pulled up. Additionally, the nylon is so slippery that it's hard to keep the sock in the right position on the Socky, i.e. with the heel pointing downwards. Sorry to be so negative after the rave reviews!
